Bariatric and wheelchair-accessible tubs:

 These tubs are both larger in size and have L-shaped outward-swinging doors to accommodate bariatric bathers and those who use wheelchairs. The transfer models promote easier and safer entry and exit for those with mobility devices, differentiating Ella’s from many competitors.

While we appreciate the variety of sizes available, we recommend considering your hot water capacity when selecting a model. Ella’s Bubbles has a water capacity of 45 to 85 gallons of water. Walk-in tubs require you to sit in the tub while it fills. If you have only a 40-gallon tank, you’ll likely need to wait for the water to reheat, which isn’t an ideal experience.

Consider upgrading to a larger water heater or purchasing an additional tankless water heater to ensure you can fill your tub with warm water quickly and enjoy your bath without interruption.

During my showroom visit, I learned that there are several construction elements that differentiate Ella’s Bubbles from other walk-in tub companies — and make dealers more likely to carry their products.
